ENVE Melee V2 – White Lightning
Lighter. Faster. Sharper. The ENVE Melee V2 improves the two things that matter most in modern road racing – weight and aerodynamics – at the same time. It removes the old trade-off between a lightweight climbing bike and an aero race bike, without losing the responsive, snappy ride the Melee is known for.
ENVE went back to the wind tunnel and saved 17 watts at 50 km/h compared to the original Melee: 11.4 W from the new frame, fork and seatpost, 3 W from the new SES Aero handlebar and 1.2 mm race tape, and 2.6 W from the shaped SES Aero bottle cages. Total frontal surface area is down 7.5%. At the same time, a size 56 frame in UL Black weighs under 800 g, so a complete build can get down to the UCI limit of 6.8 kg.
This version is finished in White Lightning – a clean, bright race finish that makes the new Melee's sharp aero shapes stand out.
