Basso Palta — The Next Frontier
Palta is Basso's gravel platform built on a single idea: adventure can be competitive, performance doesn't require a race number, and exploration is better with speed.
Frame
Full carbon frame and fork with fully integrated cable routing via the Strato Integration System. Tyre clearance up to 45mm on 700c wheels. Increased sloping geometry with a taller headtube gives more comfort and seatpost exposure, while the stem can still be mounted flush for a lower, race-oriented position.
Ride quality
The 3B Clamp System (Gen 2) is a fully hidden seatpost fixing with three screws and a vulcanised anti-vibration layer, improving comfort on rough terrain without external hardware. The reworked fork stays add precise handling alongside vibration damping.
Fit
Five frame sizes (XS-XL). Three bottle cage positions (two on the downtube, one on the seat tube) plus hidden top-tube bolts for compatible bags. Compatible with 1x and 2x electronic and mechanical groupsets, road and gravel, up to 52-36 chainrings.
